My name is Liane Wooding and I work for the Adolescent service in Blackpool. My primary role will be to deliver tier two prevention within KS3 for targeted one to one support for young people. (There is no referral pathway for this) Our team, ADASH practitioners, work with young people aged between 10 and 25. Please see referral pathways at the end of this presentation if you have any concerns for any young people.
Most recently, there has been an increase with young people using Ketamine in Blackpool. Therefore, we have created this video to inform you of what Ketamine is, its effects, the risks around the drug, the law and harm reduction advice. Please can you share this video with all services. It has been created to support professionals, upskilling and increasing knowledge so they can confidently have conversations with young people about the dangers of Ketamine use and minimise the harm.
