An Introduction to Kooth
Course Contents
This hour-long online seminar will introduce how Kooth can support the Mental Health of Young People online, in an anonymous setting. The online seminar will provide a comprehensive overview of the different pathways of support on offer, and how Kooth manages risk online. The session will conclude with the opportunity for attendees to ask any questions about the platform.
Aims and Objectives:
- Introduce practitioners to Kooth and raise awareness
- Explain the pathways of support available to young people via Kooth
- Outline the strengths and limitations of the Kooth platform
- Increase practitioner confidence in signposting Young People to Kooth
Target Audience
Children’s Services, Schools, Youth Workers. Anyone working with young people aged 10–18 years (up to 25 years for SEND).
